LITERARY & DEBATES
Through literary society of the college “Bazme-e-Adab”week of a forum is provided where students presents their own creative writings in the form of articles, poems followed by open discussion and critical ppreciation by the audience. The Literary Society of the College organizes debate competitions every year on burning issues in order to polish the communication skills and confidence of the students. Judges are the celebrities from different walks of life.
SOCIETIES
Dramatically Society, Science society, Debating society and the Computer society are arranged for the general development of the students and lend good expression to their talents.
MEHFIL-E-MILAD
The life of our beloved prophet Hazrat Muhammad (PBUH) has always been a beacon of light for the humanity. In order to pay homage to the Holy Prophet (PBUH), the college organizes a Mehfil- e- Milad every year. Students of the college glorify the greatness of the life and the teachings of the Prophet (PBUH) in their passionate voices.
MAGAZINE
A college magazine is published. The purpose of this effort is to provide an opportunity to the teachers as well as to the students develop their mental faculties. The annual programe of the college is also published in the magazine.
CHARACTER BUILDING
Special emphasis is laid on the ideological and the orientation of the students and concrete efforts are made to include national spirits in them. This objective will be the guiding principle behind all educational programming and training. However, the following activities /functions are specially organized to achieve the goal.
MORNING ASSEMBLY
The college holds the assembly daily. It includes recitation from Holy Quran with translation followed by speeches on moral and national topics.
CELEBRATION OF NATIONAL DAYS
National days, like Eid-e-Milad-un-Nabi Independence Day and Pakistan day are celebrated with full zeal and Zest.
GUEST SPEAKERS
A host of luminaries and scholars from all over the country are invited to speak on informative and patriot themes. The students are also provided the opportunities to meet and interact with the visiting dignities.
LEADERSHIP TRAINING
Along with quality education of science “MUHAMMADAN SCIENCE AND COMPUTER COLLEGE” lays emphasis on leadership training and character building. To achieve these objectives the following functions are organized:-
STUDENTS COUNCIL
It is representative body chosen by the students in accordance with the criterion prescribed by the college. The council is meant to facilitate identification for the students. Problems and difficulties of the students are indicated in the meeting of the council, discussed by the students and decisions are taken under the guidance of the principal.
HONOUR SHOPS
The Muhammadan Science College has introduced a scholarship scheme for the poor and talented students of this college in order to provide them an incentive to work hard and show best results in future.
PROCTORIAL SYSTEM
An elaborate proctorial system is fully geared to introduce the students to the art of leadership and to orientate their character for future leadership roles. |
